Customize Cubex Software

Looking around in the Cubex software folder I found 3 XML configuration files. I was wondering if anyone had attempted to change the values. Some interesting value names:

 

<RemoveOverhangRegions>true</RemoveOverhangRegions>

 

<OverhangRegionThresholdMM>2</OverhangRegionThresholdMM>

 

<CubifyCleanUp>true</CubifyCleanUp>

 

 Among other interesting ones, since my printer is out of commision currently I will play around with some of these values and see if they have any affect on the builds.

Cubify support may be able to shed some light on the usage of these parameters.

They seem to have documentation on lots of things - if you ask them.

Yeah, count me in on that question. I'd like to know what you figured out, too. I took a look at the file, but the only thing that seemed like it might solve a problem I'm having was the eliminate overhangs tag. Some small surface features disappear on prints and I'm wondering if that setting is the culprit.
