Is anyone else having issues with what appears to be excessive bed shaking when the print head makes directional changes?  Since adding the heated print bed, it's become less pronounced, because the setup is much lighter than the thick glass, but I just can't seem to get rid of the shaking.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting rid of shaking in the print bed?

To decrease it I tied the bed to the chassis with a large rubber band. I lost 2 cm but it's working for a standard bed.

I was half way through printing some stabilizer mounts to run top rear to bottom front with threaded rod, and pop went the power supply. Best estimate, I was pulling 28A to the 12x12 heated bed, plus the 12A+/- for the hotend on a 30A PSU... Waiting on 2 new PSUs to get here.

I would not us the same supply for the heat bed as you do for the hot end. Because the hot end needs a more stable supply the head bed is to aggressive to the supply and causes power supply unsuitability.

The other thing is the CubeX supply has over load protection it just shuts down when its shorted .

Agreed. Putting two supplies into the mix

Printed and installed braces (.24mm layer height, 50% infill) using 5/16 Threaded rod.  Now there is only a very slight vibration in the bed rather than shaking, even on rapid direction change.  The printer does seem to make more noise now though as there is tension in the chassis

You have vibrations because you have removed the case, the case is not just for the look.

The bed was never this stable, even with the case installed. Possibly an issue with frame assembly or alignment? Not sure how to go about resetting the entire chassis
