Need help for Cubex duo & KISSlicer setting.

Hi Guys, im Lie Fecund and im new at 3d printing world.
I have cubex duo and cubex with 1.07 firmware. it's almost 1 month for me and this 3d printing.
To be honest, it's a bit dissapointing because the software and the printer dont give good result or something that i want, out of my expectation.

But now, I found something useful and very helpful which is Kisslicer. but unfortunately I dont know how the right setting for kisslicer.
i dont know about coding or something related, because I’m basically from 3D modeller design.


I would like to ask some question to all senior 3d printing here if there is any suggestion for

- Please have a look at my image and see the setting. do u have any suggestion?
- I have from thinginverse which is a gear machine that should be able to spin. I ve tried to print it but the print result can't spin because every single side is stick to each other .
- Why can’t I use 2 filament at kisslicer? or is that only for pro?
- I saw this code from this group, i dont remember exactly, but i put this code to "G-code tab at kisslicer (Material G-Code token <MATL>" I dont know where i should put this code..

Look the first post of this thread "Cubeitmod V4.5"

Install Cubeitmod with the ini files for Kisslicer and you'll have the right settings to print with 0.1 layer thickness, for other thickness you have to make adjustments, but you can start from these values that works good with 3Dsystems filaments.

Try to play with "InsetSurface"

Yes is for Pro.

Don't need this, just use Cubeitmod with the ini files and you'll see that your print quality will be better.

I've tried the Cubeitmod V4.5 and new KISSlicer, and the result is really good !!

I'll try to print the bearing again, I hope it can spin now and I'll post here later :D

will these settings work also for printing PLA. If I just replace ABS to PLA?Thank you

Hi Diane,

install Cubeitmod V4.8

use the ini files that are into the same thread, with these files you have good settings for PLA and ABS, look into the material tab.
