When I brought my 3D touch from 3d systems it was just around the time they made a press release say they where no longer manufacturing this range of printers. and would not provide up grades. They even closed down the forum. The response was similar to the response here about the CubeX.
Ever body said they would NEVR BUY ANOTHER PRINTER FROM 3D SYSTEMS. It looks like that's exactly what happened.
I on the other hand I went on and purchased at Repman kit and finally a CubeX.
Oh about the Repman kit. Its still new and in the box I have considered selling it any body interested. its the last one they made Duel head. I paid 2200 US dollars for it.
Is there anybody here that owns more than one 3D systems printer?
I Must be the only person in the world that has purchased a CubeX after being slapped in the face by 3D systems when the decided to not support the 3D touch.
YES the company are a pack of rogues. I can not get them to sell me any spare parts and I own three of there printers. They take my orders and never take payment and that's the last I hear from them. That's why I setup my own service and upgrades It was Fix it my self or give UP. I Just don't believe in throwing the baby out with the bath water.Or I am stupid I have been call that for owning one.
I know the CubeX was the replacement for the 3D touch but its more like the CubeX was a Side ways grade of the older machines 3D Touch and so on.
It was all about market control and like a dog pissing on the lamp post marking it territory. Not about making a better printer. The only good up grade was the Magic glue. LOL
Having said all that. Theses Printers have provided more fun than any other I,T industry invention since the IBM XT and the Apple Macintosh.
