Belt tensioning system for CubeX and 3D touch.

Was adjusting the belts on my printer yesterday when I broke  the belt  tying to hold it in place while locking down the little Perspex retaining clamp that also broke .

So out of  frustration I designed this. This is a belt tensioning device.

clamp the belt in place and slowly adjust the tension on both belts until you are happy they are just right.

Great idea!
How tight do you keep your belts?
My printer was torqued down too tight when I got it.
The stepper motors were very noisy and it eventually broke the belt gear off the motor.
I adjusted them tight, but not so tight that I can't squeeze the two sides of the belt together easily.
Once I relieved some of the pressure on the belts, it got a lot quieter and seemed to move better.
