Cubex probably dead or not yet, please help?

Hi Guys, for the beginning forgive me my English its not my native language. Ive got a problem with my cubex trio day ago i want to print something and in the same time i want to replace filament in bay two after that when i want to do something with the printer ive got something like this:

-when i push plus button nothing happens screen is still black.
-after few seconds screen is lighting but nothing appears on it.
-when i blindly touch few times touch screen printer starts do something like printing but only a half of first layer of the model and then stops and returning into stops position also then led light near the nozzles blinking in frequency 1 blink for 2-3 seconds.

Thats all printer is unusable whats that? Motherboard, or something else? Could someone help me diagnose that/how to fix that? I will be very grateful.

I destroyed my Main Board inserting a cartridge with the power on.  My machine went completely dark and I needed a new board.

Start by removing all cartridges and see if the conditions change.  Check to see if the Main Board has two red LEDs lit.  That indicates the main processor is somewhat sane.  You could have a connector that is only partially seated.  I would start with the connector on the back of the display.  If you are adventurous, Take out the five screws that secure the base plate exposing the Main Board. Re-seat all connectors on the Main Board.  Do all of these things with the power off.

Dig thru the forum on " static discharge".  It's been described as ticking time bomb with these machines, running the stock setup for cartridges.
Hope that is not the issue,, and Joe's advice gets it rebooted properly.

Hi,

I've solved problem with my printer, I checked everything like You guys told me and when i remove SD card from slot on main board printer comes alive. When i try to use this card in any reader or in my mobile or even PC it wasn't recognized by those machines so it Was broken, I've replace this SD with new one and printer works fine from this moment. I suppose that SD starts break down when I try to use sleep option to pause printing for the night it don't save the state of the printing ( I suppose that is the reason of this card on main board to save the printing status). And once again for the end of my post: replacing SD solved my problem and printer works fine.

FWIW: Cubify support told me that the SD card is not used and does not need to be present on the mainboard.

This is true. To best of my research it is for some future development that will most likely never happen. your CubeX come with a free SD card how cool is that lol
