if you have "bootloader not detected" problem. here is a solution~ for CubeX

I bought a cubeX few weeks ago and it was 1.06 firmware on it.
When I tried to update to 1.07 and the "bootloader not detected" problem happened.
so I asked the customer service of Cubify, and they sent me a solution which works on my computer!

Boot loader not detected is a common error. This means your computer is not recognizing the printer. To resolve this:

1) Leave the Printer connected to the computer through the USB cable. close out of all software.

2) Once all software is closed, restart the computer

3) Once the computer reboots, reopen the software ( your computer should now recognize the printer)

4) Follow steps on updating firmware

Are there any other solutions for this problem out there? This didn't work for me. I tried the other one that someone posted here (the email from CubeX that he reposted) and that didn't work either.

My first thought is after you turn the printer back on with the 'home' button pressed, give your computer a minute or so to do the necessary installations.  I tried to update the printer too soon (within 60 sec after having turned the printer on) and I still got the same error.  But shortly after it didn't work, Windows displayed a "New Hardware Installed Successfully" in the bottom right hand corner.  After I saw that I restarted the CubeX software, then updated the firmware without a problem.

Thanks. When I realized that the 1.08 version number the CubeX software was talking about, was the CubeX software version, not a firmware version and 1.07 is the latest firmware, I gave up trying. I'll worry about this when the next firmware version comes out.

I don't remember trying a process where I turned the printer on with the "home" button pressed. That might be part of the problem. I'm assuming the "home" button is the one with the Plus "+" sign on it (I think that is the only button). I've seen the Cubify documentation call it 4 different names, I'm not sure what the official name of it is :)
