tried factory reset to fix tranquility problem but the factory reset is not working. advice?

Hi, I'm a little bit lost here, but if I got you right, your cube has somehow gotten stuck (after trying to load some viz from the gallery?)

There's 2 things you can try:

1) Bring your Photon into "Safe mode" (breathing magenta -- follow the 4 steps described in the link). Then head to the gallery and try flashing a viz that is known to work (alex's, cubetube's, wmoecke's, or any other that you know it works for sure).

If after that it still doesn't work, try fixing it with the Cube Doctor.
