I've got the trac plugin (1.0.3.6) installed and apparently working in
a recent NetBeans nightly build. I've patched my trac and it's talking
to it successfully (connection validates and I can create new tasks
which show up in trac), however, I can't see any existing tasks (even
ones I just created), yet there are > 100 in trac. Do I need to define
a query to find them? If so, where can I find docs on the syntax to
use as the UI gives no clues? Shouldn't this 'just work' by default?

Hmm ,

To task that you dont create from cubeon you need to query and from query results view you can sync with task explorer.(http://code.google.com/p/cubeon/wiki/GS_Local_Query)

Please create issue if you still can't make cubeon to work

Thanks!

Yes, it's empty. Even if I create tasks in my trac repo from NetBeans, they don't appear in there. I don't have a need for tasks that are not in trac.

That would be great if it was the interface for trac - I can see that it's easy to query tasks by priority, state etc. The equivalent trac query creator gives me an empty box to type a query in. I took a guess at 'status!=closed', and I've now got a list of tasks (and synced with the explorer), so that's good - where can I find a field list? It would be helpful if there were some predefined queries.

Thanks,

I think this was just because I didn't have a query defined to get the tasks yet.

That's great, works nicely.

I've noticed that the task sort order in the explorer is a bit strange - I think when you select sort by priority, descending, it sorts by the alphabetic name of the priority value, which means I end up with medium -> low -> high -> critical -> backburner, which is pretty nonsensical. Cubeon knows what the real order should be because it shows them in the right order in the 'filter by priority' submenu.
