Examples using Cube with other d3 visualizations

I'm a javascript beginner looking for examples to learn from. The cube/cubism default installed horizon visualizations are great but now I'm looking to try some more challenging things like using the evaluator's node-static server to create other types of d3 visualizations (ie: line, bar, etc). Any examples of this out there??
