Very cool, as can I! I have been busy polishing up the 3d printer module, working with southwest Research Institute on finding some funding, and looking at traditional startup stuff - I have pretty well run out of money again and may have to pause during some employment, but if you haven't looked at the pic gallery lately there is some good stuff going on - I have mostly stopped doing any updates to focus on other things - like some rental properties and a 100 acre eco village I and several friends are starting....

Seems there's nothing special here except for a paste syringe head. There have been (functional) reprap paste heads for a couple of years now. RichRap did one. I'll find a link if anyone wants.

I think the best approach is to simple have a different head option for the printer cube we're already developing. Bonus points if it's a kinematic quick change mount so that the heads can be exchanged between runs without re-calibration. I hope that's a clear suggestion, but I'll gladly expand on it if anyone would like me to.

Cheers,

Leo

I do agree with you.

Others here may know more than me, so if you have time to expand and
expound I am interested

I didn't detail it out much, but one variant specc'd 28 volt for head power for that very reason: extruder, dc spindle, light router, syringe heads for fliud applications (think gaskets etc) but its still sketches...

also, registering the head to a v slot was the approach I was going to use for indexing and lockdown, the material feed lines would park with the head and their care and feeding would take place in the adjacent cube a set of cutes for a pick and place could work in a similar fashion... ;-)

"set of CHUTES" was the intended phrase

Also failed to mention : thats 28v AC - 28v transformers are very common in industrial applications for 24v dc systems

Is this like machine tools use, or something even snappier?
