Hey guys, I have just found this project and would like to check it out.
I have some openbean extrusion laying around and was wondering if that would work for this?

I would like to make a printer pretty quickly.  I already have a ultimaker and I would like to make a few more.

Thanks

Hi Bill,
I'll help on this build, but I haven't had the cognitive surplus to keep up with the recent cubetastical flurry.

To those who are better informed here:

I see the "module" form-factor is in development...

Where does one go for the CAD files themselves?

Aye, there's the rub...

The cad drawings need to be migrated to the new website from the old directories and properly identified as such.
there are no cad drawings (today) of the printer parts, but I'll attempt to rectify that - the only geometry is in the sketchup model here

Feel free to ask for anything, I'll deliver what I can  ;-)

open beam... is 10mm? you might wish to consider a 300mm cube out of something that light, or reinforce the sides with structural plates, same principles apply as to the 25mm stuff but aluminum is pretty flexible...
