I have been sitting on my hands for a couple weeks (no snide comments, you!!) but,

 I just received a contribution and now I can order all the pulleys, the belting, and the components to populate the Ultimaker mother board.

so, things lurch into motion toward the goal again.

a re-do on the bushing carriers for the sliding elements are essentially the only mechanical step requiring machining left.

I'll post to this thread as the steps are completed!
