Added some Pictures to the Picasa site
http://picasaweb.google.com/cubespawn/600mmCubes#

I have been updating the Project Site as well
http://openpario.mime.oregonstate.edu/projects/cubespawn

the URL for the project site incorrectly shows the port 3000 in the
URL...
Sam (Rose) - can you correct that? when you get a chance...

Looking to cut the stock for the obsolete 500mm cube and make a 300mm
-- Sam (Putman) - got any makerbeam lying around?

I know this has seemed a dead group - but winter is the only time when
I get any freedom from my schedule, so here we go for this year!!

Yeah, kinda.

Thing is, it's in Berkeley, and lately I've been on contract in Ithaca.

So, of course, I'm trying to get more shipped from [redacted] to
Illinois, so's it can go everywhere!

We can probably work something out though. I'll be back home briefly
around the end of the month.

Drop me a line with your desires and I'll see what I can do.

cheers,
-Sam (Putman)

I'd guess 4-6 meters would be enough to keep me occupied for a while -
makerbeam is ONLY 10mm single extrusion, right? no double and triple
web parts?

I'll use 25mm for the cube and makerbeam for internals on this cube.
still thinking rails and a material handler for a pick and place cell
- not certain what all the details are yet.

yep...
in-out-in-out...
still breathing! YaY!

How are things going for you? still renovating? I have been getting
deeper and deeper in the hole:

Excavation is nearing completion, now to plaster it up with concrete
and reinforcement ;-) should give me 8-9000 gallons of storage for
rainwater capture.
Probably 1 in a series, since at 100 gals a day consumption that'd be
36500 - it seems I'm still a bit capacity short ;-)

All just good clean fun - keeps CubeSpawn from racing to the finish
line TOO quickly
