Reminder - Pack 3600 is marching in the Parade on Monday (2/20)

This is a reminder that Pack 3600 is scheduled to march in the George Washington birthday Parade this coming Monday.  Here is a re-cap of the logistics and details that was sent out by Kim Moore on 2/14.

 

What - George Washington birthday Parade

When - Monday, 2/20, 12:00pm - 2:30pm

Where - We are meeting in the division 11, unit 544 staging area, between Gibbon and Wilkes @ 12:00 noon

 

Dress for this event is FULL CLASS A UNIFORM, but please dress warmly, as we will be waiting a while as the parade gets started.

 

There are shuttle buses that run from the Eisenhower Metro station to the Parade - Parking is virtually non-existent, so please plan to either walk, or be dropped off, or take the shuttle bus to get to the parade meeting area.

We had a question about what "FULL CLASS A UNIFORM" means.

 

For Pack 3600, the Full Class A uniform consists of the uniform shirt -- navy blue or khaki -- along with the appropriate den neckerchief and slide.  Any pants are okay, including jeans - please be sure the weight is appropriate to the weather, with a layer underneath, if needed.  Shirts should be tucked in. A long-sleeved shirt under the uniform shirt is okay and even encouraged. 

 

Since it's highly likely the boys will have coats over their uniforms Monday, please have your your Scout wear his Scout cap if he has one (these are not mandatory but will help identify the boys as Cub Scouts).

 

Adult Leaders should wear Class A uniforms, as well!
