GW Parade Logistics and Info

Hello Scout Families,

We are set to march in the George Washington Parade this Monday. We are in Division 11, and are Unit 544. We need to be at our staging area on Lee St. between Gibbon and Wilkes by 12:15.

The parade launches at 1:00. It should run quickly, so please dress appropriately for the weather, in uniforms, and ready to march.

Comfortable shoes are key.

We do not have dedicated parking so please plan accordingly, either having vehicles who will do drop-offs or getting there and finding parking early in the day.

There is usually a shuttle that runs from Eisenhower metro down to Old Town
that is pretty convenient. You have to walk a bit to get to our staging area
but it's not far. Parking at Eisenhower is free in the lot across from the
Starbucks.

Kim, Do you know if they are running the shuttle this year??
