Pinewood Derby

  Good Afternoon Pack 193!

I hope everyone's new year is off to a great start!  During our December Pack Meeting, Santa Claus presented each scout with the gift of a Pinewood Derby kit!  Now comes the fun and excitement of designing and building the Pinewood Derby Car!

We will email out more specific information on the Pinewood Derby race in January.

You can mark your calendars for:

Friday, January 26th - 6:00pm to 8:00pm for weigh-in and inspection

Saturday, January 27th - 8:00am to 12:00pm for race day. 

I have attached the rules from the District.  These are last year's rules, but we will follow these guidelines for the specifications for your scout's pinewood derby car.

If you are looking for different color wheels, weights, stickers, etc. for your car, the Scout Shop in Loveland and Hobby Lobby are great places to look for those items.
