CSU Observatory Outing

Here is the link to register for the outing to the CSU Observatory for Friday, April 26. 

Where: Colorado State University Observatory

When: Friday, April 26, 2024 - 8 pm

Activities: We will be meeting with Dr. Emily Hardegree-Ullman, who is an astronomy professor at Colorado State University. She will talk to the Cub Scouts about what we can observe through the telescopes at the observatory. All family members are welcome to attend!

Key Preparation: This observatory is open to the outside, so you do need to dress warmly. There is on-street parking, and also a parking lot across the street. For our Tiger cubs, you can work on a majority of the Sky is the Limit adventure during this visit.

We have heard from the CSU Observatory for Friday, April 26. Because of the forecast of rain and clouds this evening, they have recommended we cancel for today and go with our backup date of May 10. I will send out a new sign-up for the backup date soon. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
