I am writing to you about the gala dinner China Arts Foundation International (CAFI) is having on Feb. 23rd, 2015 in NYC. I think some people from all your Alumni Associations maybe interested in getting some info about the dinner.
CAFI is a 501(3C) non-profit organization and has sponsored many music events and hosted some small events for US/China officials and business people. Please see more info about CAFI on its web: www.cafintl.org
(Please note the expense for attending the gala dinner will be tax deductible)
To build greater awareness of CAFI and its mission, we inaugurated our annual benefit dinner last year by honoring Stephen Schwarzman (CEO of Blackstone Group, who established Schwarzman Scholarship at Tsinghua University), Steven Rockefeller III (Rockefeller Foundation), Wang Bo Ming (CEO of Caijing Media Group, China) and Zhang Xin (Co-Founder of SOHO Group (China))for their contributions to cultural exchanges between the U.S. and China. This year we have confirmed the following honorees:
