As some of you may already know that Ammar is contesting in the upcoming local elections in the Champaign-Urbana area. Although the constituency is in Savoy but being one of the first desi candidates and some one I know personally for several years, I would encourage you all to support him by spreading the word.

Ammar is building his campaign as a South Asian candidate to bring diversity to the local government and is setting up a special campaign event specially for Indian Americans of our area to present and more importantly listen to the suggestions about the campaign. Event is scheduled for Feb 18th, Thursday 8pm via zoom and I encourage everyone to join to ask questions and provide suggestions.
