Operation Kidsafe was designed by ex Toyota-Dodge Dealer and child Safety advocate Mark J. Bott.
- Mark is the President of Image Events, Inc. a company that creates custom programs for Auto Dealers, Radio Stations, Banks and Credit Unions.
- Mark’s Grandfather was Hugh Chalmers (Chalmer’s Motor Car Co.) Mr. Chalmers was known as one of the best marketing men in history and was responsible for the 1st ever MVP Award in Major League Baseball.
- Mark was featured in GQ Magazine as one of the people making children safer in America.
- Mark was also on the original Amber Alert Panel.
- Mark and his wife Patty run one of the most innovative companies in the country.
- The Operation Kidsafe program is featured at most of the major Auto Shows across America and has been hosted by over 3000 sponsors worldwide.
- The program is also endorsed by the Florida Auto Dealers Association as their exclusive child safety program .
This event delivers huge amounts of free press and a showroom full of parents in a great mood because the Sponsor is doing something potentially lifesaving for their children.
Operation Kidsafe uses the same technology and equipment that is used by the U.S. Secret Service and FBI. The system is all-digital and creates a lifetime document of a child’s fingerprints and photo for parents to take home from Your event. Your logo and information is displayed on a document that the parent will keep for a lifetime.
Operation Kidsafe coordinates the entire event. Local Police and Fire Departments attend. 10,000 flyers are distributed throughout the community to Churches, Schools, Day cares and other civic organizations. A full court press is put on media to help get the word out. Mr. Bott is even available to handle all of the local interviews for you.
World Class Equipment
Operation KidSafe is a child security/identification system, which will take a child’s picture using a Digital Video Capture Device that interacts with our custom software. The picture is cropped to size. The software then captures the child’s fingerprints, using a digital ink-less fingerprint capture device, and includes them as part of the child’s file.
No Data Basing
The only record of the visit goes home with the family. The parents get the 8 1/2x11 print out with the child’s fingerprints and photo. This document would make it very simple for the authorities to publish (as they deem necessary) for distribution and entry into the National Crime Computer.
Emergency Use of KidSafe Document
Should a child become lost, or even worse, kidnapped, the parent would call 911 and let them know they have the document. The police department will know how to handle it from there. Don’t forget that the focus of this event is education. With the Operation KidSafe safety tips, children can avoid many compromising situations. It is the perfect time for parents to cover these tips with their children. Our staff person will be there to assist parents with questions.

The Iowa Stars hockey team hosted the event for a weekend home stand. They focused on young fans and made it a great kids weekend at the rink. Over 600 families were served. The fans were impressed that the Stars did this foir their kids!!!!
