CU in Community is a new student group that is hosting the first annual Be Boulder Talks. The Be Boulder Talks will serve as a platform for your voice to be heard by the university. What do you like about CU? What do you think can be done better? The Be Boulder Talks will ask the questions, “What does it mean to Be Boulder.?” and “How can we make it better?”. Ultimately, the Be Boulder Talks will bring together the diverse community that already exists on campus, create a shared vision for what is possible in the next academic year and the future, and build an action plan to make that vision a reality. The larger idea is to make student groups more efficient and effective.  As leaders move on and graduate new leaders come in and need to learn what they are doing. CU in community hopes to make this learning process easier for new leaders by providing them with goals that have already been set for the next year, and provide resources and information on how to run a student group. One of the long term goals of the Be Boulder Talks is to shape the university for years to come. The Be Boulder Talks offer you the opportunity to be a part of that. We understand that the timing is poor and that people are very busy, but the benefits are massive. This is an opportunity to take control of your education and help make the future better for others.

For more information please see CU in Community on Facebook. To RSVP to the event please email Kevin.S...@colorado.edu with the different activities and student groups you participate in and your year in school. Space is limited so priority will be given to more involved students and non-seniors.

Thank you,

CU in Community
