We have an immediate opening for a Shipping / Receiving Clerk. I need to fill this position ASAP. Can you post it so I can begin receiving resumes? They can email or fax it to me.
College degree preferred with a minimum of one year Shipping / Receiving experience.
Must speak Mandarin Chinese.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Prepare shipping documents which includes writing bill of lading and print appropriate labels.
Help coordinate freight lines and arrange drivers to pick up finish goods.
Inspect quality on the doors before packaging and labeling.
Process invoices/billing and file them accordingly.
Key in daily Home Depot shipments under excel format.
Audit and prepare all shipping labels.
Coordinate shipping with production.
Insure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot shipping issues.
Trade shows shipments.
Service and Marketing Orders (Home Depot).
Daily Home Depot shipments.
Tracking of Taiwan incoming containers.
Invoice processing and key in request for FedEx, UPS, Estes, Xpress Global, and SAIA.
Claims to freight carriers for damage and or loss.
Research rate quotations for each Home Depot shipments.
Files documents daily into assigned shelves.
Arrange dispatch to pick up shipments.
Key in all pertaining outgoing shipments into AS400.
Negotiate the freight rates.
Audit and prepare all shipping labels.
Coordinate shipping with production.
Insure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Arrange loading schedule.
Respond to any questions regarding shipment distributors.
Troubleshoot shipping problems.
Cleaning desks and cabinets when necessary.
