Hi,
I would like to bring to your attention a wonderful opportunity to work with children in the
foster care system.
By spending just 3-4 hours per week with a
foster child you can make a
huge difference in the child's life by advocating for the needs of the
foster child. A few months ago I completed the training required to be a
child advocate in
Santa Clara county. Its one of the best things I have done. The training was excellent and it was a total eye opener.
I would really encourage you to attend the
orientation program
to find out more details. Please check out

Every
county in CA has a child advocate training center. To find out the
child advocate training center in your county please check out

Children in the foster care system go through a very hard
childhood. Born to parents who are addicted to drugs, alcohol and other
vices they are abused by the very hands that are supposed to nourish
them. They become extremely insecure and grow up to be broken adults
perpetuating this vicious, evil cycle. By being a child advocate you
can make a huge difference to their life. There are 300+ children on the
waiting list for a child advocate. I strongly encourage you to
give it try.
Regards,
Lakshmi.
