Any general clues on why upgrading to Ubuntu 11.10 would break my ctypes wrappers?

I have a few hundred lines of Python using the ctypesgen generated
wrappers to make pythonic interfaces to them.

When I upgraded to 11.10 (from a couple of versions before) they started
crashing. Some tests return wrong values, and others get segfaults
(seemingly calling a NULL pointer function).

I reran ctypesgen after upgrading, and it didn't make any difference.
The old and the new outputs seemed to cause the same behavior...

Any known gotchas in this?
