Here is the official fee structure, slightly revised by me to make it
easier to understand.


Hancock Recreation Center Rental Fees
Effective April 1, 2010

1. Private Function (such as a wedding or private meeting)
A. During Operating Hours
i.Per Hour $50

B. After Hours
i. Security deposit
a) no alcohol $200
b) alcohol $300
ii. Block rental of 4 hours minimum $400
a) Each additional hour $100
iii. Staff and Utilities 4 hours minimum $120
a) Each additional hour $30


2. Open to the Public
A. During Operating Hours
i. FREE if the group meets the following criteria:
a) the gathering is during the building’s hours of
operation
b) open to the public
c) no money is exchanged (there is no exception to this
rule at any time)
d) the group has a legal certificate as a non-profit
organization
e) PARD will post on the Internet as open to the public

ii. If all the criteria above is not met, each person will be
charged at the door to enter as follows
a) Up to 2 hours $1 per person
b) Over 2 up to 4 hours $2 per person
c) Over 4 up to 6 hours $3 per person

B. After Operating Hours- Minimum of 25 persons (or payment up to
25 persons) each person will
be charged at the door to enter as follows:
i. Up to 2 hours $2 per person
ii. Over 2 up to 4 hours $3 per person
iii. Over 4 up to 6 hours $5 per person
