At our last meeting we discussed having our Christmas Party at a
restaurant this year. So I have started looking at some places and
finding out interesting things.

WHO IS COMING?
First we are going to need a pretty good idea of how many people will
be coming. So please let me know as soon as you can if you think you
will come so I can have an idea how much space we need.

WHEN
So far there does not seem to be too much trouble with booking the
date, I'll try to get our regular night or close to it as possible. Is
there any night which would just be really bad?

WHERE
These are the places I'm looking into right now. Do you have any
comments about them or any ideas of a better place, please let me
know.

County Line on the Lake (BBQ)
The Allegator Grill on South Lamar (Cajun Seafood)
Cannoli Joe's (Italian Buffet)
Threadgills on North Lamar (Homestyle Cafe)

I'll run updates by you as information comes in. Please give me feed
back on this as I can't really wait until the meeting as the closer we
get to Christmas the harder it will be to find a room.

Gail,

At this point I am planning to attend the Christmas Party. I have no
preferences as to where it is held, but I think Cannoli Joes (Italian)
would be my least favorite, as the other three sound very good. It would
be nice if we could have it the Thurs. night of our regular meeting that
month as we are all primed to set that night aside, whenever possible.

Thanks for getting this rolling.

Shirley

Gail put me down for 2 people and any place is ok but my least favorite is the Alligator Grill.
If you are still looking for places to consider there is Pok-e Joes on Palmer lane that has s separate room and has lots of parking.
Thanks, Dick.

I thought that Threadgill's was chosen and I am fine with that or any of
the places mentioned. Good luck
