Dear colleagues,

 

Here are the final ADAPT'15 news:

 

* One of the ADAPT papers caused many interesting discussions at Slashdot: http://hardware.slashdot.org/story/15/01/29/1528208/proposed-disk-array-with-99999-availablity-for-4-years-sans-maintenance

 

It supports our new publication model idea where publications and related artifacts are validated by the community before being pre-selected by PC: http://arxiv.org/abs/1406.4020

 

We also just noticed similar approach proposed in other sciences: http://www.simonowens.net/how-reddit-created-the-worlds-largest-dialogue-between-scientists-and-the-general-public

 

Therefore, we plan to continue validating this publication model at ADAPT'16 - please, stay tuned!

 

* Nvidia best paper award goes to "A Self-adaptive Auto-scaling Method for Scientific Applications on HPC Environments and Clouds"
