Dear colleagues,

 

I am looking for two colleagues – 1 doctoral & 1 postdoc position – with an interest in medical STS and critical innovation studies to join me at the STS Department at the University of Vienna. The positions are within my ERC Starting Grant Project ALTERBIOTIC.

 

ALTERBIOTIC explores the emerging biomedical research field focused on reshaping antibiotic R&D to address the challenges of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and investigates the visions, challenges, and barriers in creating a viable, safe, equitable, and sustainable innovation ecosystem to tackle AMR.

 

Both positions will ideally commence in September 2025 and will be paid according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Austrian universities. The doctoral position will be for a duration of 3 years; the post-doctoral position will be initially for 2 years with the possibility to extend the contract.
