Hi John, or anyone who has some advice. I've been using Ctrax for a few years now, but currently cannot get fixerrors to run on Matlab 2015b - it will not let me choose a .mat file (in fact it will not even display the file within the folder).

Where is the "matlab" directory of your Ctrax code?
Warning: Directory access failure: :\
> In path (line 109)
  In addpath (line 88)
  In setuppath (line 76)
  In fixerrors (line 13)
Error using setuppath (line 78)
Error setting up path.\n

Error in fixerrors (line 13)
setuppath;

Has anyone had this problem? Do I have to use an older version of Matlab, e.g. 2014b?

Thanks, Ctrax is the best tracker out there and I appreciate all your hard work, so I would love to get it working again.

Hi Matt,

You're calling FixErrors, which is looking for the Ctrax "matlab" directory, which comes bundled with all the toolbox downloads. It can't find the Ctrax matlab directory in the Matlab path anywhere, so it's asking you where you put it. There should be a popup window that asks you to select the directory? The error should come after you select some directory, but FixErrors still can't find files which are supposed to be in the Ctrax "matlab" directory. So I'm guessing either you're not selecting the right directory or it's not prompting you? And maybe this is a new PC or a new installation of Matlab?

John,  I am getting the same error message.  I am just trying to call the fixerrors function so Ctrax is not installed, just the fixerrors group of programs in the C:\Users\ALBERSJA\Documents\MATLAB\fixerrors folder.  It is on a new Matlab install, but I cannot figure out what folder it is looking for.  Can you tell me what folder it is looking for?

There should be 3 folders that downloaded with the all toolbox download whereever you saved them:
/behavioralmicroarray
/fixerrors
/matlab

You need to add the /matlab to your path.

Cheers
