Hello! I am currently a high schooler at a magnet school where we are performing research that involves Ctrax. I didn't fully comprehend the website so I'm not sure if I just missed something, but does Ctrax show cumulative tracks? For example, after a certain amount of time in an array, could it show the tracks of a fly for the entire time, instead of the tracks eventually fading?

Thank you!

Hi Afia,

Ctrax does retain all the tracking data in its annotation files; it only plots the most recent tracks on the screen. You can do "File > Export as CSV" if you want an Excel-compatible file containing all the tracking data. Also look at "Settings > Playback Options" and the "Analyze" menu options to see more of the data. HTH.
