The next meeting is scheduled for the 2nd of August, which is now less
than 3 weeks away.

So, anyone feel like talking?

On a semi related note...How about moving the next meetup to the
following weekend (August 8-10) and participate in the ubuntu bugjam?
focusing on problems for python...?

That clashes with Dragonfire [1], and, considering the overlap between
the two communities, that's not a good thing.

Not that this should discourage anyone from trying to organise
something for the Ubuntu bugjam, if they feel so inclined.

And we also still need speakers for the 12th. Anyone? (There's always
the random selection of a subscribed name from the mailing list
option, but that's unlikely to produce good talks.)

The silly and automated talk eightball I hacked together quickly
[attached, 1] says:

Johnathan Hithcock will give a talk on:
----------------------------
<div class="description">Jared Kuolt:
<a href="http://superjared.com/entry/staticgenerator-django-updated-131/">StaticGenerator
for Django Updated (1.3.1)</a>
[<i>"Now StaticGenerator leverages Django&#8217;s awesome Middleware
system to more efficiently create the static files. Just add the
Middleware class to settings.py and add a STATIC_GENERATOR_URLS
setting /.../"</i>]</div>
----------------------------

Feel free to modify the script and re-run. :D

The call for speakers is going really well. Don't you think it's going well?

So that approach doesn't work either - good to know.

So next meeting isn't just those who show up staring around wondering
what to do, I'm proposing plan B [1]:

I'll give a short talk on something, and then, since we do will access
to the sudo room [2], I suggest we engage some sort of coding/hacking
session. Suggestions for interesting problems to work on now open.

[1] There is no plan C. [3]
[2] http://www.sudoroom.com/
[3] panicking doesn't count as a plan.
