LR Tuition-Free Guarantee

CTPA Colleagues, 

On behalf of Lenoir-Rhyne University, I wanted to officially announce LR's new commitment to college affordability, the Lenoir-Rhyne Tuition-Free Guarantee. Starting in Fall 2026, the Guarantee provides 100% tuition coverage for qualified new first-year and transfer students from North and South Carolina with family adjusted gross incomes of $100,000 or less, as reported on the FAFSA. The Guarantee is funded entirely through scholarships and grants — no student or parent loans are packaged as part of the LR Tuition-Free Guarantee. 

Lenoir-Rhyne is also excited to announce new merit scholarships of up to $30,000 per year for students, which are awarded upon acceptance to students regardless of family income. For transfer, early college, and high school dual enrollment students interested in transferring their credits to LR, there is no better time than now to apply!
