Good morning everyone,

You may have already received this email from the NC State Office of Undergraduate Admissions if you’re on our mailing list, but I wanted to share it here just in case. If you’re not yet on the mailing list and would like to receive our transfer advisor newsletters, please complete the Counselor Connections form at your earliest convenience.

Below are the NC State Spring 2026 updates:

Spring 2026 Updates

Hi everyone,

Greetings from NC State! As we kick off 2026, we wanted to reach out with some important updates and resources to support you and your students throughout the transfer process.

Fall 2026 Application Deadline

Students can still apply for fall 2026 enrollment through our NC State transfer application or the Common Application. Applications must be received by February 15, 2026. Visit our transfer advisor webpage to learn more about our application process, deadlines and understanding credit for students.

Wolfpack Connect

Wolfpack Connect is a new transfer pathway that offers guaranteed admission to students who complete an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree at a North Carolina Community College. This program provides a clear roadmap to earning a bachelor’s degree at NC State, reducing uncertainty and encouraging degree completion. The eligibility form for Wolfpack Connect will be available in late January.

Transfer advisors are invited to join the Wolfpack Connect information session hosted on February 11. The session will cover student eligibility criteria, key timelines for submitting the eligibility form, when decisions are released, and expectations for participating students once admitted. We will also share advising tips to help counselors guide students through the process, followed by time for questions and open discussion.

Transfer Advisor Virtual Sessions

This spring semester, we will be hosting three virtual sessions for transfer advisors. Each session is designed to provide timely updates and practical resources to support your work with students:

  • What's The Best Transfer Pathway For Your Students? (February 25): Explore the key differences between NC State’s transfer pathways, including Wolfpack Connect, C3 Program and the traditional transfer route, to determine the best option for your students.
  • Strategies & Resources for Building Competitive Transfer Applicants (March 11): Learn best practices, deadlines, and tools to help your students strengthen their transfer applications to NC State.
  • Transfer Planner Demo (March 18): See how NC State’s Transfer Planner helps students map college coursework toward degree requirements for a smoother transfer.

Advisors can register for these events on our Transfer Advisor Events Page. Can’t attend? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording once the event is over. If you have new staff in your office, please encourage them to join our email list by filling out our Counselor Connection form.

At NC State, we are committed to guiding and assisting you and your students through the application process. Should you have any questions, please feel free to email our office at undergrad-...@ncsu.edu or call us at (919) 515-2434.

Sincerely,

--
