Greetings from NC State! As we kick off 2026, we wanted to reach out with some important updates and resources to support you and your students throughout the transfer process.
Students can still apply for fall 2026 enrollment through our NC State transfer application or the Common Application. Applications must be received by February 15, 2026. Visit our transfer advisor webpage to learn more about our application process, deadlines and understanding credit for students.
Wolfpack Connect is a new transfer pathway that offers guaranteed admission to students who complete an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree at a North Carolina Community College. This program provides a clear roadmap to earning a bachelor’s degree at NC State, reducing uncertainty and encouraging degree completion. The eligibility form for Wolfpack Connect will be available in late January.
Transfer advisors are invited to join the Wolfpack Connect information session hosted on February 11. The session will cover student eligibility criteria, key timelines for submitting the eligibility form, when decisions are released, and expectations for participating students once admitted. We will also share advising tips to help counselors guide students through the process, followed by time for questions and open discussion.
Advisors can register for these events on our Transfer Advisor Events Page. Can’t attend? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording once the event is over. If you have new staff in your office, please encourage them to join our email list by filling out our Counselor Connection form.
At NC State, we are committed to guiding and assisting you and your students through the application process. Should you have any questions, please feel free to email our office at undergrad-...@ncsu.edu or call us at (919) 515-2434.
Sincerely,
