Dear Community Leaders,

The Shelton Leadership Center, with generous support from State Farm, is excited to offer free viewing party opportunities for the 2025 Shelton Leadership Forum. This is a chance for NC Community Colleges and Extension Offices to offer free professional development on building communities and ethical leadership.

You can invite anyone from your local community to attend, regardless of their affiliation. The event will be a great way to learn practical strategies for building communities and leaders.

Host a Viewing Party

If you are interested in hosting a viewing party for your organization, please complete this form by Tuesday, August 19.

The 10 organizations with the most registrants by September 23 will receive a special goodie box with printed materials, prizes, giveaways, and snacks!

What We Provide:

  • A Facilitation Guide and training
  • Livestream link and interactive tools
  • Marketing materials for your event

What You Provide:

  • A viewing party location with A/V equipment
  • A facilitator to moderate the discussion and attend our training
  • Food (optional)
New This Year

  • Viewing Party Timeline: Livestreaming runs from 9:00-11:30 am, followed by facilitated activities and discussion from 11:45 am-12:45 pm.

  • New Streaming Service: We will be using WebEx this year.

  • Registration: Your attendees will simply select your viewing party from the list during their registration. No need for a separate registration form.

We will provide weekly updates and daily updates in the final two weeks leading up to the event.
