Lenoir-Rhyne University’s College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics seeks applications for a part-time faculty appointment at the rank of Instructor or Senior Instructor (as determined by the provost based on faculty handbook qualifications) beginning in August 2025. We invite applications for a part-time position in Chemistry to begin August 18, 2025. A minimum of eighteen (18) hours of graduate coursework, from an accredited institution, in chemistry or a closely related field is required, master’s degree preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 3 to 9 credit hours, with the possibility of additional courses in future semesters. Teaching responsibilities may include lecture and lab sections of introductory chemistry, general chemistry, and physical sciences.
