Good Morning CTPA Community College Colleagues,

It is an exciting time for transfer students as the number of guaranteed transfer agreements continues to grow for community college students. As we look to strengthen and streamline our own processes, I am reaching out to learn more about how other community colleges are managing these agreements. Specifically, we are hoping to gather information on the following:

  • What is the title of the position that serves as the primary point of contact for these agreements?

    • Is this individual considered faculty or staff?

    • Are they full-time or part-time?

    • Do they have other responsibilities?

  • Do you have one central person managing all agreements, or is responsibility distributed among individuals for each agreement?

  • Do these points of contact meet with and advise students participating in the agreements through to community college graduation?

  • Does your college track students participating in guaranteed admissions agreements, and if so, how?  Do you monitor student outcomes of these students (transfer rates, graduation after transfer)?

Your insight will be incredibly valuable as we review and consider best practices for managing these partnerships at our college.

Thank you in advance for your time and for sharing your experiences. I look forward to hearing from you.  Responses requested by 9/26/2025.

Thanks

Lisa

Good morning all,

In an effort to streamline data collection and facilitate potential sharing, I’ve created a Google Form: https://forms.gle/MH53rBfSZh1afY6y9.

If you’ve already replied, there’s no need to complete the form—I’ll transfer your information over on your behalf.

Thank you!

Lisa
