UNITED WAY BRINGS THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER FOR RESIDENTS OF MARY WADE HOME
NEW HAVEN—Join us at Mary Wade Home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 10:00 am for a brief photo and interview opportunity when Jennifer Heath, President & CEO of United Way of Greater New Haven drops off letters of support for residents of the facility. Jennifer will be greeted by residents and staff of Mary Wade Home, including David V. Hunter, President and CEO and Doug Melanson, Executive Director.
The ongoing pandemic and social distancing have led to feelings of isolation for many, including our elderly neighbors. In response, United Way launched the #CaringForYourCommunity campaign, motivating people from across greater New Haven to reach out and connect with some of our most vulnerable neighbors. The initiative supports Mary Wade Home’s focus on bridging together communities of all ages and backgrounds.
