Governor Lamont Launches First TV Ads, Focusing on Results and Standing Up for Connecticut
HARTFORD, CT – Today, Ned Lamont announced the launch of his campaign’s first TV advertisements, highlighting the Governor’s record of delivering results and protecting Connecticut families.
Governor Lamont doesn't just talk–he delivers. The first ad, 'Sleeves Up', showcases his record of getting things done and his vision for what's next: universal healthcare, lower energy costs, and making sure corporations pay their fair share. This is what leadership looks like.

Lamont’s second ad, ‘Welcome Home' reminds voters that Connecticut is a place where everyone belongs. When Trump and ICE crossed the line, Governor Lamont fought back by banning federal agents from schools, churches, courthouses, and hospitals without a judicial warrant, and prohibiting them from hiding behind masks. That's what it means to keep Connecticut safe.

Both ads will be paired with shorter versions for social media and streaming platforms, delivering the core message of the campaign focused on opportunity, affordability, and democracy to all platforms. In the coming weeks, Governor Lamont will continue to roll out his plans and his vision for a better, stronger Connecticut.
Sleeves Up:
My kind of people are the folks who just go to work, roll up their sleeves, get it done.
You know the type …
Well that’s the way I govern ..
Sleeves up…
It’s about Getting. Stuff. Done.
And here’s what we’re tackling next-
Getting universal healthcare for Connecticut.
Tough reforms to take on Eversource to lower electric costs.
And no more corporate welfare, the biggest companies pay their fair share.
My sleeves are up.
We’ve got more work to do.
I’m Ned Lamont, and I approve this message.
Welcome Home:
Narrator: A Connecticut high school student ripped away from his family by ICE.
[NBC 4]
“He’s being held in a detention facility in Massachusetts, about 170 miles from his home”
Gov. Lamont: What Donald Trump and ICE are doing is in my view un-American.
So we passed laws to stop this nonsense, and banned ICE from our schools.
And…we got this young man, Rihan, out in time for high school graduation.
[Gov. Lamont at news conference]
“I want to say, from the bottom of my heart, welcome home.”
I’m Ned Lamont, and I approve this message.
