
TOMORROW: COMPTROLLER SEAN SCANLON, STAMFORD MAYOR CAROLINE SIMMONS HOST DISCUSSION ON HOUSING INVENTORY AND AFFORDABILITY
(HARTFORD, CT)—Tomorrow at 1 p.m., Comptroller Sean Scanlon and Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons will convene a roundtable to discuss housing inventory and affordability. They will be joined by Department of Housing Commissioner Selia Mosquera-Bruno, local legislators, and housing professionals and advocates.
The discussion will highlight state-led initiatives and recent legislation, as well as how localities can promote and incentivize housing growth. As Connecticut’s fastest growing city, Stamford has been uniquely challenged with rapidly addressing housing shortages.
