COMPTROLLER LEMBO TO SERVE ON GOVERNING MAGAZINE PANEL TO ADDRESS PUBLIC PENSIONS AND LONG-TERM FISCAL SUSTAINABILITY
Comptroller Kevin Lembo has been invited to participate in a Governing magazine roundtable discussion on public pensions and long-term sustainability that will be held in New York City on Tuesday.
The discussion – “Retirement Readiness in the Public Sector” – will address how pensions and other obligations are a key pressure point on the fiscal stability of states and other localities. Lembo and fellow panelists will talk about ways that government can empower public sector retirement readiness while supporting long-term fiscal health and sustainability in their states, cities and counties.
