PUBLIC HEALTH COMMITTEE CO-CHAIRS TO BE JOINED BY SPEAKER MATT RITTER, ELECTED OFFICIALS, PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERTS FOR PRESS CONFERENCE AND FORUM ON VACCINE ACCESS IN CONNECTICUT  

 

State Representative Cristin McCarthy Vahey and State Senator Saud Anwar, co-Chairs of Connecticut’s Public Health Committee will be joined by Speaker Matt Ritter, other elected officials, and public health experts for a press conference and informational forum on ensuring access to vaccines on Wednesday, September 24, at 11:30am in LOB Room 1D. The event will cover the efforts of the partnership between the Public Health Committee, the medical community, the Lamont Administration, and the academic community to provide accurate public health information. It will also cover the partnership's effort to ensure equitable access to vaccines as an essential component of protecting the health of the citizens of Connecticut.
