STATE REPRESENTATIVE BOBBY GIBSON HOSTS DWIGHT FREENEY DAY TO HONOR HALL OF FAMER

 

On Friday, August 9, State Representative Bobby Gibson (D- Bloomfield, West Hartford) will hold a ceremony to honor Bloomfield native and Pro Football Hall of Famer Dwight Freeney. The event will feature a performance by a Hartford based drill team, as well as remarks from prominent local officials, including Speaker of the House Matt Ritter (D-Hartford), University of Hartford President Lawrence P. Ward, and Rehoboth Church of God Bishop Jonathan Ramsey Jr. The festivities will begin at 11 AM. Parking will be limited at the Capitol due to renovations/paving - there will be additional parking options on the street and the Legislative Office Building garage.
