REP. REYES TO UNVEIL LICENSE PLATE

HONORING THE BORINQUENEERS

New law forever pays tribute to 65th Regiment of U.S. Army

 

State Representative Geraldo Reyes will help unveil a special motor vehicle license plate honoring the Borinqueneers, the 65th Infantry Regiment of the U.S. Army. This unit, comprised of mostly Puerto Rican soldiers, was renowned for their service in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. The Connecticut General Assembly passed the "Connecticut Hero Act" in 2025, paving the way for the special license plate.

 

Members of media and the public are welcome to attend.
