STATE REPRESENTATIVE DEFRONZO, LT. GOV. BYSIEWICZ TO HOST 35th ANNUAL POLISH CONSTITUTION DAY CEREMONY
State Representative Dave DeFronzo will be joined by Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz and the Polish Legislative Delegation to commemorate the 235th anniversary of the Polish Constitution, and in celebration of the 35th annual "Polish Day at the Capitol" on Thursday, April 30th, at 10 a.m. The Polish Day Celebration will take place in the North Lobby and South Grounds of the State Capitol. The event will feature music from Polish singing groups and the recognition of honorees who have made a significant contribution to the Polish community and the State of Connecticut.
WHAT: 35th Annual Polish Constitution Day Ceremony
WHEN: Thursday, April 30th, at 10 a.m.
WHERE: The celebration will be held in the North Lobby of the Capitol at 10 a.m. including performances by the Polonia-Paderewski Choir and the Polish Scouts. During the ceremony, Jason Jakubowski (CEO of Connecticut Foodshare), Ansonia Mayor Frank Tyzska, Joanna Michalski (New Britain Polish Saturday School), State Representative Tami Zawistowski, and State Representative Mary Mushinsky will be honored for their significant contributions to the community with a citation.
