United Way of Greater New Haven celebrates final day of Read Across America with Yale New Haven Health at Barack Obama University Magnet School
NEW HAVEN, CT –– Join United Way of Greater New Haven and Yale New Haven Health volunteers as we deliver brand-new books and read to students at the Barack Obama University Magnet School!
During Read Across America, nearly 300 United Way volunteers spend their mornings getting children excited about literacy by reading to students across 15 schools in 6 towns and donating over 670 new books to classroom libraries. Come and witness our final
reading session as we wrap up Read Across America at the Barack Obama University Magnet School with the help of volunteers from Yale New Haven Health.
