WHEN: Saturday, October 18, noon-2

Forty-three progressive organizations will unite for “No Kings 2,” a National Day of Action to confront rising authoritarianism and corruption under the Trump administration. The mobilization will reclaim the American flag as a symbol of democracy and empower communities through direct action—protecting immigrants, registering voters, supporting veterans, defending public benefits like Social Security and Medicaid, embracing diversity, and advancing health equity and education. Events nationwide will spotlight local activism and civic engagement as tools for resistance and renewal. Local organizers expect the crowd to surpass the estimated 9,000 to 10,000 who attended the "No Kings" protest in Hartford in June.

Across all 50 states, 6 million are expected to gather to embrace democracy and reject authoritarianism.

No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety. Organizers are trained in de-escalation and are working closely with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide.
