CCAG Endorses Candidates in Primary Races

STATEWIDE – The Connecticut Citizen Action Group (CCAG) has announced its endorsements in our state primary legislative races which will take place on August 11.

For the Connecticut House of Representatives, CCAG endorses Wildaliz Bermudez of New Haven in the 97th District, Moise Carelus of Glastonbury in the 31st District, Toni Lombardi of Milford in the 110th District, and Angie Parkinson of East Hartford in the 10th District.

In the Connecticut Senate, CCAG endorses Maryam Khan of Windsor in the 2nd District.

“We are proud to endorse these candidates as their policies align with CCAG’s progressive values. Connecticut deserves legislators who represent the hard working families and communities they serve, and leadership that does not bend to the will of corporate interests,” said CCAG executive director Tom Swan.

CCAG has been engaging the people of Connecticut in challenging power for a more equitable and just Connecticut since our founding more than 50 years ago. With our members and partners, we have achieved major wins in climate justice, health care, democracy and voting access, economic justice, and education equity. For more information visit ccag.net.
