TOMORROW: COMPTROLLER SEAN SCANLON HOSTS VIRTUAL ECONOMIC UPDATE & MEDIA AVAILABILTY

(HARTFORD, CT)—Tomorrow at 1:30 p.m., Comptroller Sean Scanlon and Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) Economist Michelle Parlos will host the monthly virtual debrief of OSC’s economic update.

Since the 1700s, Connecticut’s State Comptroller has penned a letter on the first of each month to the Governor detailing Connecticut’s fiscal health.

OSC has since expanded these reports to cover the state’s budget and finances, national events and trends, and Connecticut’s labor and housing markets. Additionally, each edition includes a timely spotlight; February’s speculates the six policies and events that will be most consequential for the economy in 2026.

The virtual event will include a brief overview of these elements with the opportunity for questions.
