ATTORNEY GENERAL TONG TO RELEASE NEW REPORT ON CONNECTICUT DATA PRIVACY ACT, PROVIDE NEW INFORMATION ON ACTIVE INVESTIGATIONS RELATED TO SAFETY OF CHILDREN AND TEENS ONLINE

 

(Hartford, CT) -- At 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 5 at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, Attorney General William Tong will be joined by Senator James Maroney as he releases on a new report on the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. The report will detail the Office of the Attorney General’s actions in 2025 to enforce compliance with Connecticut’s data privacy law, and will disclose new information on multiple active and ongoing investigations related to the safety of children and teens online.
